Is a spare key easier than replacing every lost key?
Usually, yes. If you still have one working key, adding a spare is often a simpler job than an all-keys-lost situation. That is why getting a spare before an emergency is worth considering.
Do you cut the key blade too?
Yes — blades are cut on site with professional equipment, both standard edge-cut and laser-cut, by code or duplicated from your existing key. Cutting and programming happen in the same visit, so there’s no second stop at a cut shop.
What should I have ready?
The vehicle, every working key or fob you still have, and proof that you are authorized to have a key programmed. Photo identification may be required.
Can I buy a fob online and have it programmed?
Sometimes, but frequency, FCC ID, chip type and vehicle compatibility all matter. Send the listing or fob details before ordering whenever possible; the wrong part cannot be fixed by programming.
